Qualifications:

• Current unrestricted Practical Nurse license with the college of nurses of Ontario
• 1 year current work experience, preferred in a long-term care setting
• Ministry of labor worker health & safety awareness training certificate
• Current BLS Heart and Stroke Gentle Persuasive Approach and Willing to obtain PIECES training
• Excellent Assessment skills, knowledge & practice of nursing process
• Communications skills level to understanding and follow facility policies & procedures: English speaking, French an asset
• Experience with computers including outlook, PCC PCS/Meditech
• Physical ability to perform job duties
